I'm feeling so blessed, after moving to the new home of Handa Crafts and  Curtains at the end of January, and getting such a warm welcome from our community. If I hadn't moved, my business would have been wiped out in the floods. I'm feeling super grateful, and so I set up “chat’n’sew” in a spare room at my new premises here in Casino. 

It’s open for everyone 9-4 pm Monday to Friday, and completely FREE. We are fully wheelchair accessible, so all are welcome. 

I've donated fabric and wool, have tables, chairs, and sewing machines plus so many more supplies have been donated also. You only need to turn up and be ready to sew or knit! 

I'm also operating as the collection point for the quilts being made by @SEWN LOVE 2022, and will coordinate the pickup and distribution of the quilts when the time comes (Casino, Lismore, Coraki, Mullumbimby, Murwillumbah etc - wherever they’re needed)

Chat'n'sew is a space where people can CONNECT, sew together, and make things (quilts and blankets) for people in need.
