French General and Homespun Magazine have joined together to create a stunning quilt for the Homespun Magazine BOM 2022 - Bonheur de Jour. The BOM starts with the April/May Homespun Magazine edition, and is available at Handa Crafts and Casino, both in-store and online.
The pre-cut fabric packs are released inline with the release of the bimonthly magazine (6 parts over 12 months).
Featuring fabrics from the Bonheur de Jour collection by French General, this quilt features applique and piecing, and is absolutely glorious as a project for yourself, or to gift as an heirloom to pass down through the generations.
French General is famous for their use of neutrals when constructing designs of timeless elements. This collection features beautiful florals ranging from larger blooms and intertwining vines to smaller leaves and petals aligned on the fabrics like dots. Fabrics from Moda and designed by Kaari Meng, Creative Director and Head Designer for French General. It was released in the April 2022 issue of Homespun magazine, and this new Block of the Month features a fun mix of French inspired motifs and classic pieced blocks. The fabrics used include French General’s classic reds and neutrals in a mix of small and larger florals (suitable for fussy cutting) plus some favourites from their first collection in 2009.
